எந்திரன் - என் பார்வையில்...

படத்தின் கதை ஒரு இருவரி கதை. ரஜினி ஒரு ரோபோ உருவாக்கும் scientist. அவர் தயாரித்த சூப்பர் எந்திரனான சிட்டி ஐஸ்வர்யா மீது கொண்ட காதலால் வில்லன் துணையுடன் நாச வேலைகளில் ஈடுபடுகிறது. அதை நாயகன் ரஜினி முறியடிக்கிறார். இவ்வளவு தான் கதை.

சந்தானம் மற்றும் கருணாசுக்கு ரொம்ப ஸ்கோப் இல்லாத படம் இது. சந்தானம் ஸ்பெசலான டபுள் மீனிங் ஜோக் ஒன்னே ஒண்ணுதான் இந்த படத்துல. அதையும் ரஜினி பயங்கரமா கண்டிக்கிறார். இந்த கண்ணடிப்பு படத்தில் மட்டும் உண்மையிலும் தான் என்பது போல். அதன் பின் சந்தானம் அடக்கி வாசிக்கிறார். உண்மையை சொல்லப்போனால் ஜஸ்ட் வந்து போகிறார். ரஜினிக்கு சந்திரமுகி தந்த படிப்பினையாக இருக்கலாம்.

நல்லவேளை எந்திரன் படத்தில் கமல் நடிக்கவில்லை. ஒரு காட்சியில் ரஜினி ஐஸ்வர்யாவிடம் தான் எந்திரன் இல்லை என்பதை நிரூபிக்க கையை கிழித்து இரத்தத்தை காண்பிக்கிறார் ரஜினி. இதுவே கமலாக இருந்திருந்தால் எதை காண்பித்து நிருபித்திருப்பார்? ( அவ்வைஷண்முகி அனைவருக்கும் நியாபகம் இருக்கும்) ஐஸ்வர்யாவின் கதி அதோ கதிதான் ;-}

படத்தின் முதல் பாடலில் ரஜினி ஐஸ்வர்யா இருவரின் வயதும் அப்பட்டமாய் தெரிகிறது. பாபா செகண்ட் பார்ட் போன்ற உணர்வு உண்டாகிறது. ஆனால் நல்லவேளையாக சுதாரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள் போலும் ஐஸ்வர்யாவின் வயது படிப்படியாய் குறைந்து வழக்கம் போல் தேவதையாக வலம்வருகிறார். ரஜினி? ( போங்க பாஸ் தலைட்ட நாம் இதையா எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம். தலை வயசானாலும் சிங்கம்ல).

எந்திரன் வரும் நடன காட்சிகளில் ரஜினி சிவாஜியை போல் ஆடுகிறார். அதுவும் பார்பதற்கு ரோபோ ஆடுவது போல் தான் இருக்கிறது :) (சிவாஜியின் ரசிகர்கள் என்னை மன்னிப்பார்களாக).

படத்திற்கு பிளஸ் ஆன விஷயங்கள்

• எந்திரன் வில்லனாக வரும் காட்சிகள். ரஜினி தனது பழைய வில்லத்தனத்தைதூசு தட்டி காண்பிக்கிறார். உண்மையிலேயே நீங்க சூப்பர் வில்லன் ரஜினி சார்.

• எந்திரன் பிரசவம் பார்க்கும் காட்சி
• குழந்தைகளை கவரும் கிராபிக்ஸ் காட்சிகள்

• ரஜினியின் குரலில் தெரியும் அவரது வயது. ஒருசில பாடல் காட்சிகளிலும்அவரின் முதுமை தெரிகிறது
• கொஞ்சம் இழுக்கப்பட்ட கிளைமாக்ஸ்
• ரஜினிக்கு கொஞ்சம் கூட சம்பந்தம் இல்லாத அம்மா அண்ட் அப்பா. மற்றும்ஐஸ்வர்யா சொல்லும் ஹாப்பி ஹோம் கொஞ்சம் ஒத்துகொள்ள முடியவில்லை

இறுதியாக ஷங்கரின் ரசிகனாய் ஒரு உறுத்தல்... படத்தின் ஓரிரு காட்சிகளில் மட்டுமே ஷங்கர் தென்படுகிறார். மற்றபடி படம் முழுவதும் ரஜினி ரஜினி ரஜினி தான். என்னை பொறுத்தவரை ஷங்கர் ரஜினி போன்ற மாஸ் உள்ள ஹீரோக்களை வைத்து படம் பண்ணாம இருக்கலாம். அவரோட தனித்துவம் போய்விடுகிறது.

மொத்தத்தில் இது சிறுவர்கள் விரும்பும் ரஜினி படம். மற்றவர்கள் கண்டிப்பாக ஒரு முறை ரசிக்கலாம். எதிர்பார்ப்பு இல்லாம பார்த்திங்கன்னா கண்டிப்பா என்ஜாய் பண்ணலாம்.

Deleting Duplicate Records form oracle table

"Write a SQL query to remove duplicate records from an Oracle table"

This is one question which I have been asked to answer this question in almost all the interviews I attended so far. The answer used to come in a flash. I used to solve this by using ROWID in a sub query. I think most of us use the same logic. Perhaps some of us would use MAX(ROWID) and some of us would use MIN(ROWID).

Recently I just had an opportunity to read the url http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_delete_duplicate_table_rows.htm. This guy has used different techniques to achieve the same. Real good stuff... So just check that out and enjoy :)

Oracle Puzzle: How may O's ur sentense has

Problem Statement: Find how many times each character occurs in the given sentence. For Example if the given sentence is 'good morning' should return

m:1
r:1
n:2

It is quite simple if you opt for a pl/sql procedure. The inbuilt functions length and replance are just enough. Here is the procedure I had written to solve this problem. May be you can come up with better solution.

I have been wondering the power of ROWNUM many times. Indeed this is also a fine example. Here is my SQL solution to this problem,

where rownum<=length(lv_string))
group by lv_char;

Can you generate Monthly Calender for current year using a SQL query? Sounds interesting is not it? I took up this challenge couple of years back and solve it just by using DECODE and ROWNUM. Perhaps I can share that in another post.

10 Digit Number

A ten-digit number contains every digit from 0 to 9. The digits are arranged so that the number formed by the first two digits, reading from left to right, is divisible by 2, the number formed by the first 3 digits is divisible by 3, the first 4 by 4, and so on until the whole number is divisible by 10.

What is the number? There are two digits that can be placed immediately. Which are they?

I am back :-} ...A simple puzzle to start with

I would like to start with a simple puzzle which I had come across recently. I guess this is a straight forward one... Give it a try :-}

4 criminals are caught and are to be punished. The Judge allows them to be freed if they can solve a puzzle. If they do not, they will be hung. They agreed.

The 4 criminals are lined up on some steps (shown in picture). They are all facing in the same direction. A wall separates the fourth man from the other three.


So to summarise :-
Man 1 can see men 2 and 3.
Man 2 can see man 3.
Man 3 can see none of the others.
Man 4 can see none of the others.

The criminals are wearing hats. They are told that there are two white hats and two black hats. The men initially don't know what colour hat they are wearing. They are told to shout out the colour of the hat that they are wearing as soon as they know for certain what colour it is.

They are not allowed to turn round or move.
They are not allowed to talk to each other.
They are not allowed to take their hats off.

Who is the first person to shout out and why?
